The Alliance of Angels Seed Fund is a $4.4M fund raised in 2009 from both institutional and accredited investors. It invests alongside the Alliance of Angels, adding to the group’s financial firepower.

Investors in the Seed Fund passively participate in the Alliance of Angels’ ongoing investments and gain diversification across a broad portfolio of early stage companies. The AoA has celebrated more than 30 exits over the last 15 years with more than $1b in value creation, delivering an industry leading rate of return to our members.
Proven Management Team
The Seed Fund is run by Executive Director Emer Dooley. Investment decisions are made by an investment committee consisting of Gaylord Kellogg, Peter van Oppen and Tim Porter, who have multiple decades of combined experience in early stage investing. Companies raising capital via the AoA have to meet additional criteria to qualify for Seed Fund investment.
